“To see a world free from its brokenness & addictions.”

Finding Freedom started at Charleswood Community Church (Winnipeg, Manitoba) in 2007. Tim Fletcher saw a need and started a Friday night program for addicts and the families of addicts.

Even though the message was directed towards the addicts and their families, many people outside of addiction started to attend.

Finding Freedom helps people understand how that trauma affected them – not just in becoming an addict, but in all aspects of their lives.

Our mission

Our mission is to offer a safe, loving and respectful environment, and a program that addresses the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of healing for people who suffer from addiction, trauma, and/or spiritual brokenness that they may experience a measure of freedom from the effects of these while becoming better equipped to face future challenges.
